BASF, AkzoNobel und Arkema arbeiten gemeinsam an der Senkung des CO2-Fußab­drucks von Pulver­lacken

Der CO2-Fußabdruck von superlanglebigen Pulverlacken der AkzoNobel-Marke Interpon ist dank einer fortlaufenden Partnerschaft mit Arkema und BASF entlang der Wertschöpfungskette um bis zu 40 % geringer. Das bedeutet, dass die superlanglebige Interpon D-Reihe nun einen noch größeren Beitrag zur Reduzierung des CO2-Ausstoßes über den gesamten Lebenszyklus eines Gebäudes leisten kann.

KHUA and Hehui adopt BASF’s methodology to calculate product carbon footprint

Zhejiang Guanghua Technology Co., Ltd. (KHUA), a global manufacturer specializing in polyester resins for powder coatings, and Chongqing Hehui Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Hehui), a polyurethane catalysts company, are adopting BASF’s methodology to calculate product carbon footprints (PCF).

BASF hat mit Carbon Cap Applications Technology Co. (CCAT) einen Lizenzvertrag über die Bereitstellung der Gaswäschetechnologie OASE® blue für ein Projekt zur Abscheidung und Speicherung von Kohlendioxid (Carbon Capture and Storage, CCS) im Taichung Power Plant Carbon Reduction Technology Park unterzeichnet. Das Projekt wird von der Taiwan Power Company (Taipower), Taiwans größtem Stromanbieter, betrieben.

Die Umstellung beginnt im Mai 2025 und gilt für alle Amine, die an den europäischen Produktionsstandorten in Ludwigshafen, Deutschland, und Antwerpen, Belgien, hergestellt werden.
