It is BASF technical assessment that the use of B2Last does not pose any hazards to the asphalt industry personel beyond what is currently encountered in an asphalt operating environment. BASF has conducted significant reviews and analysis to ensure that its new asphalt reactive modifier can be used appropriately. In multiple trials, monitoring of volatile organic compounds and diisocyanates habe been conducted and proved that this type of reactive modification complies with the occupational isocyanate emission limit of 5ppb.
