Driving progress through innovation

BASF continuously advances its portfolio and, alongside conventional expandable polystyrene (EPS) products such as Styropor^®, Peripor^® and Neopor^®, as well as polystyrene and styrene, also offers solutions with an improved sustainability profile.

For its mass balance portfolio, BASF uses alternative feedstocks that are certified according to recognized sustainability certification schemes such as ISCC PLUS or REDcert². By integrating renewable raw materials into its value chains, BASF reduces the use of fossil resources and lowers the carbon footprint of its mass balance products — without compromising product performance or quality.
