Aufgrund seiner hohen Elastizität und mechanischen Belastbarkeit wird Elastollan® zur Herstellung einer Vielzahl von Basismaterialien für die Textilindustrie verwendet. Es eignet sich nicht nur für vielseitig einsetzbare atmungsaktive und wasserdampfdurchlässige Membranen, sondern auch für besonders reißfeste Gewebe, die beispielsweise in der Bauindustrie benötigt werden. Auch in atmungsaktiven Textil- und Medizinmembranen bietet das Material eine hohe Wasserdampfdurchlässigkeit.

Due to its high elasticity and mechanical resilience, Elastollan® is often used for the production of various basic materials in the textile industry. It is suitable not only for versatile breathable and water-vapor permeable membranes but also for particularly tear-resistant fabrics used, for example, in the construction industry. Also, in textile- and medical membranes, the material offers high water-vapor permeability.
