Overview of Aliphatic Diamines

1,2 Propylendiamine is an organic chemical and belongs to the group of alphatic amines. It is a hygroscopic, colorless and flammable liquid with a light ammonia odor. 1,2 Propylendiamine is used as an intermediate in a variety of applications.

2-(Diethylamino)ethylamine (DEAEA) belongs to the class of ethylenamines. It is mainly used as a building block for various active pharmaceutical ingredients.

3-(Dimethylamino)propylamine (DMAPA) belongs to the class of 1 ,3-diamines. DMAPA is a versatile intermediate with a variety of applications.

1,2-Ethylenediamine (EDA) is used mainly as a building block for crop protection products, in the synthesis of chelating agents and for low-temperature-active bleaching agents. The many other applications of 1,2-ethylenediamine (EDA) include polyamides, lubricants, fuel additives and textiles.
