In partnership with JGC, BASF has developed a unique high-pressure gas treatment technology for high-pressure regeneration to allow for energy-efficient carbon capture and storage (CCS) applications, which is marketed under the HiPACT brand.
OASE® blue is an optimized large-scale post-combustion capture (PCC) technology. With low energy consumption, low solvent losses and an exceptionally flexible operating range OASE® blue is the paramount technology for use in carbon capture in flue gas or other oxygen containing gases from sources such as fossil fuel power generation plants or steam turbines.
OASE® green is the technology for acid gas removal primarily targeted for biogas applications. It is characterized by an exceptionally robust performance in gas streams containing oxygen and/or olefins.
OASE® purple technology has proven its versatility and reliability in natural gas applications. Our solutions portfolio ranges from bulk removal of CO2 to deep removal of all acid gases for LNG applications.
OASE® sulfexx™ is a highly energy efficient gas treating technology jointly developed by ExxonMobil and BASF, which helps refiners and gas processors to meet their sulfur removal targets while reducing carbon footprint. OASE® sulfexx™ provides a competitive advantage by increasing plant capacity and lowering investment and production costs.
OASE® white is the state of the art amine technology for acid-gas removal in the production of Syngas, Ammonia, Hydrogen / Carbon Monoxide (HYCO) and iron ore.
OASE® yellow was developped to enable selective acid gas removal i.e. of sulfur components from natural gas as well as acid-gas enrichment (AGE) or tail-gas treatment (TGT) units. BASF's OASE® yellow technology offers a range of solutions that meet our customer's specific project requirements.
