At BASF, we want to contribute to a circular economy by replacing fossil feedstocks with renewable feedstock in the value chain. The corresponding share of renewable material is then attributed to specific sales products via a certified mass balance approach. This process maintains product performance and significantly reduces product carbon footprints while conserving fossil resources.
